Little League® Baseball - TEE BALL Division

Tee Ball Division is open to players who have a League Age between 4-6 . A player may register for Tee Ball who has a League Age of 7, but only if it is his or her first year of playing Little League®.

Little League® Baseball - A-BALL (Coach Pitch) Division

A-Ball Divison is open to players who have a League Age of 6-8. Players who have a League Age of 5 may move up to A-Ball, but only if they have played at least one year of Tee Ball. Players who are 9 years of age can register for A-Ball, but only if it is the player's first year playing Little League®.

Little League® Baseball - AA-BALL (Player Pitch) Division

AA-Ball Division is usually a player's first introduction to live pitching from other players. AA-Ball is open to players who have a League Age of 7-10. Players who have a League Age of 11 are allowed to register, but are not allowed to pitch. AA-Ball Participants Will Be Required To Attend One of The Two Evaluation Days. Note that AA-Ball registrants are eligible to be drafted to an AAA-Ball team, so long as they meet the age requirements and Attend the Mandatory Player Evaluation.

Little League® Baseball - AAA-BALL Division

AAA-Ball Division is the next level of player pitch. It is open to players who have a League Age of 8-11. Players who are 12 years old are allowed to register, but are not allowed to pitch. Players who are 9 years or older can register for Majors Divison or AAA-Ball Division. If players are not drafted by a Majors team, they will play in the AAA-Ball Division. Players may register as AAA-Ball Division only if they do not wish to commit to the Majors Division Player Evaluations and Draft. AAA-Ball Players only are still required to attend one of the two Player Evaluation Days.

Little League® Baseball - MAJORS Division

MAJORS Division is open to players with a League Age of 9-12.  To Be Eligible to be Drafted to a Majors team Players must attend both days of Player Evaluations prior to the Player Draft. Any player who is not drafted to a Majors Division team will play in the AAA-Ball Division. All 12-year-olds must play in the Majors Division unless a written request is submitted to the South Highline National Little League® Board of Directors (requiring approval).

Little League® Baseball - JUNIORS/SENIORS Division

The upper JUNIORS/SENIORS Division is open to players with a League Age of 13-15.

Little League® Softball - MINORS Division (Girls)

MINORS Division is for female players with a League Age of 5-11. A Coach Pitch or Machine Pitch Division is available to female players with a League Age of 7-8 and a Player Pitch Division is available to female players with a League Age of 9-10 (pending no. of players registered).

Little League® Softball - MAJORS Division (Girls)

MAJORS Division is open to female players with a League Age of 9-12. Players who are 12 years old must play in the MAJORS Divison.

Little League® Softball - JUNIORS Division (Girls)

JUNIORS Division is open to female players with a League Age of 12-14.

Little League® Challenger - CHALLENGER Division

CHALLENGER Division was founded in 1989 as Little League's Adaptive Program for Individuals with physical and intellectual challenges. Any individual with a physical or intellectual challenge may participate in the CHALLENGER Division. If an individual can participate in the traditional Little League Baseball or Softball Divisions with reasonable accommodations, they should not participate in the CHALLENGER Division.

CHALLENGER includes two divisions of play. It's main division accommodates players with a League Age of 4-18 (or up to 22 if still enrolled in school). It's Senior division accommodates players with a League Age of 15 and older (with no maximum age limit).

SHNLL is a non-profit affiliate of Little League® Baseball, Inc. operating in the cities of Normandy Park and Des Moines, WA.
