What are player evaluations?
Evaluations are an important (and fun!) process where players are taken through a series of baseball drills – hitting, fielding, running, pitching - to assess their current level of skill. The evaluations have two roles: (1) to ensure the player is slotted into the appropriate division to maximize their level of enjoyment and ability to learn the game, (2) to provide visibility to the coaches for roster building.
Who should attend?
Evaluations are needed for ALL Players who have signed up for Minors-Player Pitch or Majors.
Tee-Ball and Minors-Coach Pitch players do not need to attend, nor do returning Majors Players.
What do I need to bring?
Players should bring a glove and wear baseball attire: baseball hat, baseball pants (or sweatpants), cleats are advised as the field may be wet.
Parents should bring the Medical Release Form if they did not submit during registration.
